About the presenters:

John Walters is currently the Sr. VP of Business Development for Insurance Applications Group, Inc. IAG is the company that designed and markets the Essential StaffCARE benefits program. John has over 15 years of experience in Sales, Consulting, and Management for the employee benefits industry, with the last 10 years specifically focused on the Staffing Industry.

Alan Gilbert, Director of Strategic Partnerships, serves as a liaison between Insurance Applications Group and their payroll processing and funding partners and staffing specific software partners.  “The importance of timely and accurate payroll data is a critical success factor for our organization and developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships is key to that success.” Before joining Essential StaffCARE, Alan Gilbert was a District Sales Manager for TALX Corp., a leading provider of HR, payroll, and tax consulting services.  In this role, he was responsible for the sales of corporation tax consulting services to employers with greater than 5000 employees in the Eastern region of the US and developing existing customer relationships. Prior to TALX, Gilbert served as Corporate Sales Manager at ADP Inc., a provider of HR and payroll solutions. At ADP Gilbert managed business development for Pre-Employment Services, which included background checks, applicant tracking and tax credit and incentive services. Gilbert also spent several years in the 1990’s in the staffing industry working as an Area Manager for Olsten Staffing.  With more than twenty-five years of experience in the professional services field, Gilbert has an extensive background in HR workforce solutions and Payroll services. He holds a double major in Business Administration and Insurance & Economic Securities from the University of South Carolina and is a South Carolina licensed Life and Health agent.  Alan resides in Greenville, SC and is active in Crossfit Training and road cycling.
