Through the budget, on April 12, 2018, Governor Cuomo signed into law amendments to the Labor Law, requiring employers in the State of New York (employers who have employees within the State of New York) to have a sexual harassment policy, a sexual harassment complaint form, and to provide sexual harassment training on at least an annual basis. In this regard, on August 23, 2018, New York released its draft of the minimum standards for sexual harassment policies and training.
